McLean wins the decision:

Round 1 - The fighters trade low kick, and McLean lands another nice one. Roddy returns fire. McLean works more low kicks and darts out of range. Both fighters tentative early on and stay at range. McLean with more low kicks. The fights trade low kicks, and their knees collide. McLean tries another, and Roddy catches it and shoves him into the cage. But they reset in the center soon after. Roddy snaps off a low kick. the fighters circle some more. McLean throws a low kick and is countered with a punch. Neither fighter is willing to sit in the pocket long, and Roddy finally puts together a nice combo that's finished with a body kick. McLean lands another nice low kick but eats a punch again. He then blocks a head kick before shooting and getting the takedown before the round ends. It's a close one, but MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for McLean.

Round 2 - The fighters both stand and trade, and both score some nice punches. Roddy looks to use reach for jabs and goes high with a kick, but McLean easily snuffs it out. McLean fires off a nice combo and scores with a right, and then he does it again and scores with a left. Roddy shakes it off and remains in the pocket. Roddy looks for high body kicks but doesn't have much behind them. Roddy moves in, and McLean clips him with another lunging combo. Roddy doesn't very bothered, but the shots are scoring. A timeout is called when Roddy lands an accidental but painful low blow. Roddy goes high with more kicks that miss and then eats a heavy barrage of blows. A left hook drops Roddy, but he immediately defends, and McLean lets him stand. Roddy appears to have recovered, but McLean lands another solid lunging shot. Roddy lands a nice combo but is countered. Both stay in the pocket and look for more. McLean blocks a head kick but takes a knee to the junk as the round ends. MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for McLean.

Round 3 - McLean checks a kick and whiffs on a combo while moving forward. Roddy answers with one of his own, but it's checked too. McLean snaps off a right to the chin. McLean scores a takedown, but he can't keep Roddy down. Roddy tries to reverse and then lands in ha;f guard when he overpowers his opponent. McLean corrals a leg, but he's pinned against the cage and vulnerable to punches. McLean now works butterfly guard as the pace slows. Roddy lands a few punches to the head and body and then hops into the mount. He lands a few punches, but McLean ties him up from below. When McLean tries to get up, Roddy takes his back and secures a rear-naked choke. McLean fights it off and breaks free of the choke, though the body lock remains tight. McLean continues looking for the choke, but McLean defends well despite eating punches. The compact McLean may actually be too short for Roddy, who's too high with his effort. McLean then spins out, takes top position and rains down punches while avoiding the triangle choke. The round ends there. It's 10-9 for Roddy, but MMAjunkie.com has it 29-28 overall for McLean.
