He was fighting Overeem, what do you expect? I never said he was top of the line or could fully compete at the highest level. My point is, Rogers impressed against Fedor and he came to be railed on hard after his loss to Overeem. You can look good against 1 fighter, lose your next fight and bam, your stock drops a considerable amount.

If Silva impresses against Fedor then turns and loses to someone else in a less impressive fashion, he will fall to the same fate as Rogers, which is my point. Looking good 1 fight doesn't secure any sort of status as a top 5 or someday top 5, cause your next fight could blow all of that out of the water.

Bigfoot will probably be the same or worse than he is now, no matter how he looks against Fedor, given that he hasn't fully impressed before Fedor, and probably won't impress anymore than he already has after.

Silva was quite the prospect a few years ago. This is his chance to reach the expectations of him imo.

And the fact that he has 1 credible win in his whole career...AA. A guy who loses often now a days...

You're a lil bit harsh on big foot, losing to fedor is nothing to be ashamed of.

Win or lose it doesn't change the fact that this guy doesn't have the talent to be a top fighter in the sports weakest division. Fedor isn't a top 5 HW anymore and all of the real elite HWs would crush and embarrass Bigfoot.
