I think the ufc has the better talent level but I think the last few sf cards have been much better. Last night they were all finishes. Ufc now has a bunch of lighter weight showcases that are all predicitably 3-5 decisions.

Some people enjoy seeing two of the best going at it, some enjoy a middle tier fighter knocking out an another middle tier fighter.

What would I rather see. A card filled with uneven fights and all fights where you can pick a winner a mile off. Or lots of close fights where a knock out finish is a major shock?

Obviously thats opinionated and alot of casual fans prefer the KO finishes, but fights like Joe Stevensen vs George Sotiropolous are much much more intrigueing to me than most the fights last night

I wouldn't call any of last nights fights mismatched. Awsome card.

I agree. Last night was a great card.

The UFC is filled w/ more well-rounded fighters, who are being rewarded to play it safe [GSP, Rashad, etc.], whereas SF has uneven talent, but rewards high for finishes.

I just cannot stand SF's announcers. I'm glad I watched the fights in whatever language it was on youtube.

Gus Johnson looks like a worm.

And his post-fight interviews are cringe-worthy at times.

The commentating team as a whole tends to constantly make ridiculous statements to a point where I'm used to them now. Such a relief to listen to Goldy and Rogan afterwards.

I thought it was a nice card, but HW fights rarely go to a decision anyways, so its not surprising when you had a card filled with them.

Wait a minute, are you telling me that HW's finish their fights more often than FW's? Get the hell out of here......

Totally agree. badass card, badass fighters, badass fights.

I really think SF has a better HW division overall.
