What to do in a mma fight, fighting someone bigger than you.

What's the use of your training if you didn't trust on the skill and knowledge your Instructor given to you, what you will experience is just a trial partly on what you learn, you had been trained to gain self control and self confident, so bear with those and don't let your fear conquer you.

Feel excite and think positive things, put in your mind that your will are your tools to win on this event.

The best way to combat this is to fight bigger guys in training. I have no problems fighting people who out weight me (in my first fight I fought a dude who had 20 lbs on me, my second I shouldn't have been fighting at WW and the dude I fought was ripped as all hell) because of this. Also, JIU-JITSU IS YOUR FRIEND! BJJ is a game of leverage before it's a game of strength. I'm EASILY the weakest person in my gym strength wise, and I'd prefer it as such, because I don't lift much, but I still win sparring far more than I lose. How? Through superior technique and leverage! A guy can be way stronger than you but when you're trying to tear his arm off with eveyr muscle in your body it's going to be really, really hard for him to defend it with just that arm.

I actually had my fourth pro fight this weekend against a dude that was a lot bigger than me. I'll post pics when I get them, but it didn't matter so much as I finished with a submission in under two minutes. Just trust in your skills and work rate.
