*Petition to fight Fedor*

I want to start a petition to get more fights for Fedor.
It was shocking and upsetting enough for fedor to lose to Werdum and Bigfoot in a row, but what made it much worse was when he announced his retirement.
This is a tribute. If we get enough people to support him he has to reconsider, Nobody is undefeated in MMA and former world champions like Machida and Lesnar are dumped very fast after a few setbacks.

Now I was glad he took those fights with Sylvia, Arlovski, Rogers, Werdum and Antonio Silva. Though the best may be in the UFC, all those fights were intriguing and none went to decicion or past 2 rounds. Fedor is like the Tyson of MMA, he not only beats the best but does it in devastating fashion which is even harder.

Its true Fedor is past his prime and it showed it in his fights, but hes still a great and entertaining fighter and I think the fights he took were necessary anyways, and he should dump the useless M-1 and go fight Cain Velasquez, Frank Mir, Randy Couture, Brock Lesnar, Shane Carwin and JDS win lose or draw.
Fedor you have so much more to give dont retire!

Following: Cain , JDS, Werdum, Shogun, Machida, Weidman, Pettis, Aldo, Melendez

No i hope he stays retired and doesnt tarnish his legacy , by fighting bigger men who maybe arent quite as skilled but good enough to make the szie count which is why i think the game has evolved past him big guys now have gameplans and use their size better , but taking nothing away from Fedor he beat everyone in his prime who was considered 1, 2 and 3 so the to me he is the best HW ever.

Bisping Fan extraordinaire

Velasquez will be back

I was thinking this the other day and even tho I know for a fact after all thats been said and done will ether Fedor ever want to go to the UFC or would the UFC take him at present, the UFC would in fact be the best place for him right now because there he could clock a few wins against some hyped up fighters and prove that he is still one of the best in relation to many HW's competing in the sport.

Its this simple there are a large number of competitive and hyped up fights for him in the UFC No.1 been Randy Couture, others such as Frank Mir, Roy Nelson and maybe Brock Lesnar if he can clock a win or 2 in there first.

Fedor maybe needs the step down in the level of competition right now which he is unlikely to get at Strikeforce where all the hyped up names to create sellable opponents to the general fan are very serious top level talent wise opponents from the new benchmark been set in the MMA HW world, where as the UFC has a ton of lower skilled fighters with big names and hype that Fedor would be able to compete against and more than likely get back on the winning side of his game, and these fight like Fedor vs Couture would be sellable to the public, even rematches with Nogueira or Cro Cop could be fitting fights right now, even tho I have Fedor to quite easily smash ether of them.

Are you really fans of this guy if you want to see Overeem do the same thing to him as he did Fujita? Fighters should compete for themselves and their families not because some random people want to watch them. If he doesn't want to do it anymore on a personal level then he shouldn't.

Fans like to tell guys to retire or keep fighting for stupid ass reasons. You should only retire either because you don't want to compete anymore for whatever reason or because you have sustained physical damage that makes it too risky for you to be fighting.

How about a petition for him to get in shape and fight matches made for him that aren't done by M-1.

Well neither is the case here he was never dropped and hes only in he's 30's and he likes to compete.

And I dont care about his family, I just want to see him fight the top fighters, he has to give back to the fans that supported him and payed his bills otherwise he would be poor in Russia hunting bears. He owes the fans to continue competing. If he retires he can forget about being considered a GOAT

Didn't Fedor already release a statement saying he's not going to retire? and Scott Coker said Fedor gets the loser of Alistair/Werdum.

Yeah for sure I want Fedor to keep fighting. Not in strikeforce though, he should retire from them and go to UFC immediately. I dont want to see Werdum and Antonio Silva rematch. He is a little washed up now and not as fast as before, and he had the most horrible strategy against both of them. He should have sprawled and brawled Werdum, and counter punched against Bigfoot and not be so aggressive. He always tries to outgrapple the grappler and outstrike the striker, and it cost him. He should join extreme couture not for wrestling, but for strategy next time. Im a huge fan of his and want him to reclaim the throne as the last emperor!

Good call, bring a translator with him, get him to loose the blubber add some muscle. Learn from the Couture.
