Interview With Ed Fishman About Buying PRIDE FC

We've all heard it before, everyone is interested in buying PRIDE FC. Ed Fishman is President of PRIDE's American Operations and is looking to purchase the company. Here's an interview Sherdog did with him:

He flirts around with every question, never really providing a definite answer. But i can tell he is interested and really wants to outbid the UFC, if in fact, they are involved in the bidding. Hopefully, the PRIDE management retains ownership or Fishman can come up with the money, cause if the UFC bought PRIDE, competition would cease to exist, and thats never good for the consumers...the fans.

it would be horrible for the fighters if ufc bought pride they would basicly monopolized mma and control salaries and if the fighters didnt like it there woulnt be too much they could do its not like those other smaller organizations are gonna last too long either if pride and ufc combined but from a consumer stand point i think it would be great we would finally know who is the best in each weight class and have all the dream fights never before thought possible
