Respect for ones opponent and a display of sportmanship elevates a fighter in the eyes of most fans. It is very important to me to see this. It is a sign of maturity and character. I don't like the displays that Tito puts on after his fights but I was equally not impressed with the way Ken Shamrock reacted to him since their first encounter. Ken had the opportunity to take the high road in the situation and in the process retain his image if not his record but he chose to answer in kind and it made him look foolish.(particularly since he could not back it up)
