Well it would probably be good for Hardy to get some matches in Strikeforce. Look at Keith Jardine who is getting his chance again. Though I think most fighters will come over to UFC after contracts are up.

I don't really like that Brandon Vera is getting a pass because his third loss is a no contest now.

He didn't lose that fight because of steroids. He lost it because he didn't give a shit. Sure he fought alright standing but when he got taken down (which happened easily) he was the least active fighter on the ground I've seen in a LONG time. Same with Jones fight. He seriously could have subbed Jones. He had him tied up, perfect spot for a triangle, could have worked some rubber guard, could have at least tried an armbar but instead he just did NOTHING.

edit: I feel sort of guilty now, I really like Brandon Vera. He came to our buffalo gym once or twice and is a great guy, amazing wrestler, great jitz, world class striking and he just refuses to put it together now. it's like that guy you hate because you like him so much, and you see him mistreating his potential.

Well Dana White has said he is open to sending UFC fighters to Strikeforce to bolster their roster depth. Maybe Dana should send Vera to Strikeforce to get some wins before he comes back to the UFC. The lightheavyweight division does need depth.
