Anyone else think that even with age and weight disadvantage, Hendo wins?
1. Fedor coming off two losses, who knows where his confidence is at.
2. Dan coming of 2 knockouts. Fejaio he knocked out is actually bigger than Fedor
3. Dan has better wrestling he can dictate where the fight goes
4. Dan is arguably a better striker with more KOs and KO power
5. Both have equal reach
6. Both have good chins but Dans is arguably even more proven
7. Fedor has a better sub game, but I don't think he can TD Dan. If he does manage to get it to the ground I don't see him subbing Dan. He really hasn't subbed anyone with any kind of BJJ awareness for years even in his attempts against guys like Brett Rogers. Dan would likely pop right back up to his feet.
I think Dan will keep it standing with Fedor. It will be a slugfest and he will either hand Fedor his first KO loss. Or drop Fedor and swoop over him after he hurts him and finish him with a TKO.

Hendo's has heavy hands but your comparing him to guys like Brett Rogers who is 60+lbs heavier. Fedor has fought guys who hit much harder than Hendo and with better technique. Dan is a sloppy brawler, its effective and usually gets the job done but it aint pretty. Fedor has better striking, a better chin and the better ground game. The only advantage I see Hendo having is wrestling.

I'm not ruling out Hendo winnning but this is Fedor's fight to win/lose imho.
It's gonna be a fun fight to watch. I don't know what Hendo's gonna do once he realizes early on that Fedor out classes him in most areas.

There is a good chance dan gets knocked out against fedor. That being said hendo can beat fedor easily if he plays his cards right. He's got to take fedor down, not get subbed or koed and he wins.
God it must just kick ass to be a strong wrestler in mma right now.

I actually think this could very well be Hendo's first KO loss ..
I hope one of the fighter suffers a minor injure and pull out , I dont wanna see this fight .

I'm not sure how you figure Fedor has a better chin and if Hendo is a sloppy brawler so is Fedor. His technique is not very good either and he wings the same punch over and over again. Actually Hendo and Fedor are similar strikers and both lack technique but make up for it in accuracy, power and agression.
Wrestling is actually a pretty big advantage as well. It can completely negate Fedor's groundgame, which really hasn't looked that impressive in modern MMA. Not to mention dictate where the fight is fought.
Rogers is bigger than Hendo, but what did he really land on Fedor standing? A nice jab? Hendo is winging bomb after bomb when he fights and the proof is in the pudding, he has KO'ed much better fighters than Rogers has and even Fedor has for that matter.
It's gonna be a stand up brawl and I wouldn't favor anyone over Hendo in that regard.

I think Hendo will probably be submitted.
It wouldn't surprise me though if he did beat Fedor though.

...It amazing. Just a over a year ago Fedor was the #1 HW for many years on practically every MMA poll. Now Fedor is ranked #7 on the MMAweekly rankings. What a plunge down the polls. It was hard seeing Fedor fight his worst fight ever against Bigfoot. Fedor didn't look anything like his usual self. Mike Kyle had the blueprint for beating Bigfoot but he just wasn't big or strong enough to pound Silva out. Fedor was a mess in that fight. He rushed everything. He had the handspeed but was all over the place with his punches. He didn't set up a big punch or anything with his great timing. At this point Hendo has the momentum, he won't have to cut a pound and his H-bomb is a threat to anybody. At this point, it's all about if Fedor stills wants it with a serious gutcheck. Hard not to like Hendo or Fedor, they are legends...

I would be very surprised if Hendo wins, in fact at a catch weight of 220lb it just seems like Fedor is setting the conditions to make it perfect for him in every way, Hendo is a near perfect opponent that he should beat and 220lb just seems like the perfect weight for Fedor.
Am I the only one who thinks that the 220lb catch weight condition is bull sh1t, Fedor should be able to make 205, ether he can or this fight should never happen.
