Trigg Pulling Double Duty and Talking Trash
Article taken from mmaweekly. Trigg sounds pretty confident. I can't wait to see this fight.
Quote:
Frank “Twinkle Toes” Trigg will pull double duty this Friday at Pride 33, “The Second Coming.” Trigg, the Pride Fighting Championships color commentator, plans to fight and then join the broadcast team. “I will get the job done inside the Pride ring then go back to the broadcast booth and tell you about it." said the fighter/broadcaster.
Opening the show and filling in for Trigg at the broadcasters’ table will be “The Babyface Assassin” Josh Barnett. At the conclusion of his bout, scheduled early on the card, Trigg will go back to the locker room, patch his wounds, shower, get dressed and make his way to back ringside to call the action. Trigg told MMAWeekly that he’ll be back behind the microphone regardless of the outcome in his fight.
It has been eight years since “Twinkle Toes” last competed under the Pride banner, and his return is no warm up fight. Trigg takes on #4 ranked middleweight in the world and Pride Grand Prix Champion Kazuo Misaki.
This will be Trigg’s second fight in the middleweight division, coming off an impressive TKO victory over Jason “Mayhem” Miller and capturing the Icon Sport Middleweight Title in December.
With the event in Las Vegas, Trigg will be fighting in his backyard and feels it will be an advantage. He commented, "Misaki is very tough, hell, he just won the GP but it will be too hard to beat me in Vegas. It's home now. I've been training at J-sect with John Lewis in the morning and then with all the guys at Extreme Couture MMA at night. I ain't going home no punk, I'm gonna knock his **** in the dirt.”
The once retired Trigg is now one of the busiest personalities in Mixed Martial Arts. Fightinig, commentating, and now doing both in the same night. He’s finally figured out a way to be paid twice for one event.

Tough fight for Trigg, I hope he wins it. MMA is much more fun with Trigg still fighting.
