I watched a lot of MMA movies like Champions, Never Surrender, No Rules, and a couple others! After watching these movies I noticed they all have one thing in common: THEY ALL ******* SUCK! Why do they suck? Not one of these movies show MMA in a good light. Its like these movie makers don't consider MMA interesting unless its massively corrupt in some way. Do MMA films have to be action films. Do you have to have the fighter go out and fight crime lords? I don't think so!

What is your opinion? How do you make a good MMA film?

Well, Rocky has already been done in a boxing world so it would be bad to do it again in the MMA world. I think a Chuck Liddell biopic may be good. Perhaps even Shamrock brothers.

A dramitic movie about Ken Shamrock would be excellent. The rise and fall of Shamrock. His life would make a great movie I reckon.

Not really comparable to boxing, everyone can understand getting punched in the face. I think the main reason MMA is difficult to turn into a movie because there is an entire aspect of the sport which can't be made to look dramatic unless you know what you're watching. How can you really make suspense out of someone trying to lock an armbar when people watching don't know what an armbar even is.

I think they did that with Unrivaled! I will admit it was Hector Echaverria's best work but comparing it with his other movies that isn't saying much!
