This dude sucks. Does anyone here actually like him? I feel like he's incompetent when it comes to MMA, his interviews are horrible (last night interviewing Overeem for example), and he looks like a dofus. Will Zuffa please get rid of him already?

He's not part of Zuffa, he has a contract with Showtime and I am curious as to what happens with that, especially since it was announced that Rogan and Goldberg will be announcing SF events in the future, yet they weren't there last night.

Gus Johnson is just terrible at his job. He is a terrible basketball announcer, and an even worse mma announcer. There were times where no one would talk for 20-30 seconds at a time (a big no-no in broadcasting) and I welcomed them.

I was wondering about his contract. I was going to ask around, as he seemed to be plugging all Showtime's upcoming broadcasts. I don't have the channel so I didn't know he announced other sports for them. Surely announcers shouldn't jump between different sports, that seems very small time and cheap from Showtime. Hopefully when their deal with SF ends Gus will never be seen in MMA again.
