David “The Crow” Loiseau will be migrating west to New Mexico in the coming weeks to begin a training camp with renowned trainer Greg Jackson.
The Canadian middleweight, who took a three round decision loss to Jackson-trained Joey Villasenor Feb. 10 during Elite XC’s “Destiny” broadcast on SHOWTIME, says he and the amiable trainer mutually approached each other after the bout.
“I think Greg Jackson is a genius when it comes to MMA,” said the 27-year-old Loiseau. “It’s all about the chemistry, the fighter-trainer thing. With the changes I want to make, I think Jackson is man to bring me to the top.”
Loiseau, who just purchased a home in Montreal, plans to frequent Jackson’s gym as well as receive his new teammates up North. This foreign exchange could see Villasenor, “The Ultimate Fighter 2” winner Rashad Evans, “TUF 1” victor Diego Sanchez, and fellow middleweight Nate Marquardt hop the border to train with Loiseau in the months ahead.
