To pose a hypothetical situation, what if Fedor absolutely dominates Hendo? What can we expect Fedor's next career move? To simply continue fighting at HW? Or does this solidify Fedor belonging at LHW? Could we see him fight in the UFC's LHW division? I think these are all legitimate possibilities, with extra emphasis placed on the possibility of him NOT returning to heavyweight. One has no choice but to question Fedor at HW. Having dropped one to both Werdum and Silva in my mind also puts him below some of UFC's top HW's. A decision win in my mind cements that Fedor is at the tail-end of his career, whereas a dominant showing would lead me to be very interested in seeing him drop weight and go down to LHW.

If Fedor totally dominates Hendo then I guess he can pretty much choose what he wants to do with his career. Whether its at LHW or HW. He won't go to the UFC until Strikeforce finally fold into the UFC. I'm not entirely clued up on his contract situation, who is?, so I guess it all depends on that. I'd like to see him go down to LHW. At HW, I really don't see him beating Cain, JDS, Lesnar or maybe even Carwin or Mir.

I know he would have a challenge or 2 at LHW also, I just think against guys such as Machida, Rua, Evans he would use his strength and weight advantage to counter the superior speed of these fighters. Of course against JBJ he'd probably be screwed unless he can pull out an armbar on those lanky arms.

I believe in the LHW division he can at least be relevant, maybe a top 5 fighter for a few years to come. He can't be that far towards the tail-end of his career. Hes only what, 34,35? And its not like hes been in the wars Wandy and big Nog have. I hope he stays around for a while.

Fedor should drop to 205. The problem is, will he lose power with the drop in weight, ala Vera? He has incredible power, but he's giving up a lot of weight to in-shape power house fighters (Not like Timmy).

It makes no difference because it's a heavy weight fight. He will still be way over the requirement to be a light heavy weight. When he fights hendo he will still have a big size advantage. Him being able to beat a guy that ways around the LHW level while he is at the heavy weight level doesnt mean he can make 205 and win.

People say fedor can make 205 easy. If that is the case why isnt this fight against hendo a lhw fight? He had plenty of time to cut the weight.
