Thoughts on the rest of the Strikeforce card?
Since no one seems to be talking about anything but the Fedor - Henderson fight. I thought I should make this.
I thought Saffadiene (sp?) looked great and his striking is very dynamic. I would like to see him against some higher competition.
Im not sold on Woodley, as soon as he fights a fighter with a better bottom game he is going to lose. Or anyone that can keep the fight off the cage.
P.S How about that SICK sweep into omoplata that Daley did? I literally jumped when he did that.
the Lawlor - Kennedy fight was actually decent, Robbie showed some awesome sprawls but when it did go to the ground Kennedy did a lot of work.
Then the title fight, I thought it was entertaining. Nice submission but I think womens MMA is still too new, the divisions are so weak that like 3-4 of them just keep taking turns at title shots. I do like womens MMA though, very entertaining.

Am I the only one who had sexual thoughts while watching Miesha Tate vs Marloes Coenen? I think Coenen is hot as hell. I felt so bad that she lost only because she is so cute and ....I LOVE HER! The fighting was OK.
Paul Daley showed improvement in the ground game. He should be ready to fight the top UFC guys in a few years. Dana is softening up. Woodley was a typical wrestler although he showed some nice striking at times.
BTW, I always thought the UFC should have just suspended Daley for ONE year plus made him pay Koscheck $50k (in order to stay in the UFC).

So so. No amazing fights, only decent at best. Saff looked great but it was against Smith. Who is absolutely aweful, who Daley looked far better against. Chuck Saff Daley and see how he handles Daley's striking.
Lawlor is frustrating to watch sometimes, when he just refuses to pull the trigger. He only ever wants to land ONE big punch and relies on his power far too much. When a striker refuses to engage or counter effectively is on par with lay n pray imo. It's extremely annoying to watch. On the other hand, his sprawls and TDD looked pretty good, though Kennedy beat him up a bit when it did hit the ground.
I love Miesha so I'm glad she got a win. I'm not amazingly interested in womens MMA but it was a decent fight.

I was surprised that Tate got that submission so seemlessly. She looks good. Daley is looking much better with the TD defense but his offensive has looked much worse. That omaplata attempt was amazing I was really hoping he would get it. Woodley looked good but he needs to learn to use some GNP or he will become very boring. Saffedine looked really good but he should have finished Smith. Kennedy looked good and man they had some nice scrambles but I can't see him beating Jacare.

Well I just watched the Daley fight and although he showed good defense, he still can't get off the fence. That said the omaplata attempt was sick. If he'd have gotten that ... o.O

I was struck by Daley's perfect sportsmanship after being smothered again. and impressed by the last 20seconds bigtime.
Although I love Tim Kennedy I was very disappointed with Robbie Lawlor. All that pretty footwork and nothing. Couldn't pull the trigger. I don't care how old you are, that's the first sign of aging.
I enjoyed the women's fight and I hope they stick around somehow in the all zuffa world.

I wanted Miesha to win because i find her more attractive than Coenen, even though i liked both.
I dont like Daley as a person bought he fought well in my opinion.
