Alistair Overeem canned.
Surprised there is not more talk about this, I think he better reconsider and make a deal with the UFC. I don't think anyone else can pay him close to what he wants.
I guess if he has a contract with golden glory then he might be screwed.

Y'all cut slapshot some slack and go make another Sonnen thread
Actually I think this whole ZUFFA massacre is a Golden opportunity for SOMEONE to do SOMETHING that isn't owned by the UFC.
I don't know who that someone is but, I'd even support m-1 at this point if they would just do something.
I say make Overeem/Fedor happen now. Make it a huge Golden Glory vs Red devil/M-1 event and have a F U Dana banner in the background.
I remember my buddy Rusty thought a monopoly was gonna be a good thing

Well yes I have been in the dojo more than out and Ive been looking this site up on my phone b/c we stopped paying for internet.
I did try and do a search but on the phone I didnt see anything so ...
Anyway we have seen the UFC pay fighters that are injured more to fight because of the risk they are taking. I guess he must have asked for a ungodly amout, cutting him was a low blow.
It seems that Ive missed alot without my interwebs.

I actually just came home from an evening of board games and alcohol. I always lose at monopoly though. This time I even had two whole sets of streets with hotels on them PLUS I had both the most expensive streets and nobody ever stepped on any of it. Then the other guy builds one measly hotel and I step on it and have to pay him 15k. So I'm out of money and I have to sell him one of my streets and it's just a downward spiral from that point forth...
Anyway...
I agree. This whole ZUFFA buying Strikeforce and WEC and UFC merging has turned out to be a disaster for fans and fighters.
