What happens to the MW divison if Shogun loses will we finally have a Number 1 contender? Who will it be will Wandy acually fight him.
I don't know about the rest of u but I have a feeling that Shogun is gonna lose

If Shogun were to lose it would ba a small, but significant step back for him, and a huge step forward for "The Demolition Man". Alistair is a quality opponent despite the fact that he hasn't fared particularly well as of late. A loss to him would only set Mauricio back a little bit, he would still be right near the top of the division. On the other hand it would be a huge boost for Alistair. A win over the man many consider the very best 205 lbs. fighter in the world would put Alistair right back in to the mix for a title shot. Lil Nog should still get the next title shot regardless of who wins this fight (or the title fight for that matter).

i already asked this, and i was thinking the same thing, maybe overeem gets a shot at silva for the title,assuming silva does win against hendo,(else its going to be mayhem if shogun AND silva looses). Arona is the contender after shogun, but the 2 fights were so boring(esp the 2nd one) that i dont think arona vs silva 3 is ever going to happen again(just like a nog vs fedor 4 is unlikely to happen for a while)... too bad overeem lost to arona in a freak accident, else this is def going to happen..same if he would not have lost to rogerio..

But if overeem looses to shogun, i think rogerio is open for the title shot.

It would suck, but Shogun would learn from his mistake(s). Overeem is a dangerous opponent, and him winning would probably garner a third match between the 2. Shogun would then stomp Overeem's precious little face.
