Allow me to correct myself, it Fedor can test himself against younger but stiff competition. I also see two more possible rematches. He could face Arlovski in another ProElite card or he could face Brett Rogers who was recently released from Strikeforce.

I can live with that
Arlovski sounds interesting, especially considering how the first fight went down. You could say the same thing about Rogers, but isn't he in jail?

Arlovski, Rogers? Frankly, I wouldn't even watch those rematches, sounds like bull***t to me. First of all, it won't redeem Fedor whatsoever and secondly, those are not even fights purely for the fans (like Hendo vs Fedor was).

Favorite fighters:
1. Badr Hari
2. Remy Bonjasky
3. Mauricio Rua
4. Anderson Silva
5. Alistair Overeem

Well if it redeeming and fan fights you are talking about there are two opponents I can think of right off hand. First in terms of redemption there is Overeem, the top heavyweight outside the UFC. In terms of fan fights there is Tito or Wandei once they get cut.

Potential opponents floated for Fedor:

Quote:
ESPN.com's Josh Gross reports on Tuesday that the search for Fedor Emelianenko's next opponent may already be narrowing. Longtime fighter manager Monte Cox told Gross this week that he offered up either Travis Wiuff or Mike Whitehead as potential foes for Emelianenko after recently being contacted by M-1 Global. Nothing is yet finalized, but these reports at least give us some indication as to the level of competition M-1 is considering for Emelianenko's next match.

Further reports indicate that the company is targeting an early November return for "The Last Emperor", likely in St. Petersburg, Russia. More on this as it develops.

I agree. The only problem is that I don't see M-1 making Overeem vs Fedor happen. Fedor vs Tito would be a fight for the fans, but Tito will demand a nice paycheck which M-1 most likely won't accept. Even Affliction was unable to sign Ortiz for whatever reason. I remember Tito saying that he'd love to face Fedor back then...

Well remember that Golden Glory and M-1 Global made similar demands on Zuffa for their fighters. That being said I think they will be able to reach some kind've agreement. Also M-1 may be willing to pay the money they are talking about.
