Which fighter has the most MMA fights?
So far I managed to dig up this guy.
Anybody have more?
They don't call him Ironman for nothing. ;)
Jeremy Horn gets an honorable mention.
Almost 250 wins and only 5 are decisions, well done.
Definitely that guy.
Unless you count other things as "fights" such as grappling matches etc. In the meaning of sanctioned mma fights this guy wins hands down.
He got cut from the UFC comin off of a win, suspicious?
the guys who came back immediately
the guys who came back eventually
the guys who didn't come back again
They call it the dark days for a reason.
Dan Severn also gets an honorable mention. As far as I know he's still fighting at the age of fifty-*******-three. 125 fights...99 wins... not too shabby even though a good 90% of his wins are against legit cans.
I think it would be better to just list all the fighters we know of in the 40 win club
Travis Fulton 2474810 (1)
Dan Severn 100-18-7
Jeremy Horn 88215
Travis Wiuff 6314 (1)
Igor Vovchanchyn 54101 (1)
Yuki Kondo 52258
Ikuhisa Minowa - 49-32-8
Shonie Carter - 49277
Brian Ebersole 48-14-1 (1)
Shannon Ritch - 47-74
Ricco Rodriquez - 47-11
Melvin Guillard 46-9-3, 1NC
Matt Hughes - 45-8
Dennis Hallman 43-14-2 (1)
Jeff Monson 42-11
Chris Lytle 41-18-4
Yves Edwards 40-17-1
Scrolled through Fulton's record and its absolutely insane. The man has 3 win streaks of 28 wins in a row or longer... wow. He also has 38 boxing matches... unfortunately his record is 14-24 including being knocked out 22 times!! If this man doesn't have brain damage when he gets older it'll be a miracle. He's been knocked out 30 times overall including MMA fights.
So just a review:
344 total combat sport matches not including his amateur record.
He's Dan Severn's bitch (0-3-1)
Only 20 of his fights have gone to decision!
He's still only 34!!
This will probably be the most difficult record to beat when all is said and done.
