Was there less than 1,500 people at the event??

From watching the event on t.v. it looked like the place was empty in the seating area. How on earth didn't they fill it up with even a few thousand people? They could at least have given them away as being on t.v. no one wants to see a dead crowd. I believe UFC really wants to bring it down quickly and take the best fighters with them asap!

Should have brought it to North Carolina.

I'd have went.

I heard it was around 1,500 as well give or take. It didnt look or sound like a good crowd at all. Looked like that Casino Rama show I went to in Toronto area despite the Big Names on this SF Card. I would think Zuffa actually wants people to show up, I dont see them limiting attendance that low for SF on purpose. Maybe Columbus is not a good MMA/SF town in general.

It could have something to do with the fact that Overeem was pulled from the card. At least that's what broke the HW GP for me.

I'm enjoying as many SF fights as I can...cuz the end is coming soon. Although it was a second tier show I didn't mind it at all...

Cormier brought the Grand Prix back to life, at least for me.

Yeah, definitely. I think the finals will draw a lot more people. Cormier is starting to look like a real force at HW and if he can beat Barnett I think he has a good chance of beating any HW on the planet.

An exceptional wrestler with good striking is a definite threat to just about anybody.

Barnett won't stand a chance. He could get that submission but this fight doesn't hit the floor, unless Cormier wants it to go there.

I just read Ariel Helwani reported there are no more than 1,500 by the looks of it.

I'll be at the Bellator event on Saturday night at the Hard Rock in Florida. I've been to a UFC and WEC event there. It fills up!
