Rogers Cable Canada eliminating HDNet

This is beyond stupid. Not only do we lose Inside MMA, all of the UFC weigh in's, but we also lose all of the smaller shows, and overseas stuff (like Dream, K1 etc.)which of course, was in HD.

I called the often useless customer service number and of course, they have no reason as to why this is happening.

It is set to stop as of November 1st.

Anyone have any idea why? You are welcome to send your feedback to Rogers here:

HDNet is what is keeping me with Dish Network. When I first bought my house, the only cable company out here was a small locally owned outfit that didn't even have any HD channels. Your thinking that must have been a long time ago, no it was back in 2008. So I went with Dish. I have been pretty happy, but earlier this month Cox cable put down cable and we now have Cox available. I had Cox for years before moving to where I am now, but since switching to Dish I must say I am pretty happy. Cox doesn't carry HDNet so no way I am switching back.

There are other downsides for Canada loosing HDNet. Many of the major MMA fight cards are on HDNet. So they loose their own events.
