Sad ending

http://www.mma-core.com/videos/_TANK...024079&tid=100

Hello all, i was looking to see what had happened to some of the 'old' warriors from the start of the UFC and came across this with Tank Abbot and Scott Ferrozo.
Does anyone else have any info/video/stories etc about UFC fighters that have reached rock bottom?

Moved to General MMA...even though this is as far from MMA as I've seen...

How is this even allowed to go towards their 'pro' records? THIS is the kind of shit that stops MMA progressing. It's embarrassing.

Exactly the way i feel, Abbott was exactly hall of fame material but seeing that video just made me pity them both.

Poor old Tank Abbott, it was sad enough to see him fight Kimbo, somehow this is infinitely sadder.

Scott Ferrozo simply retired, for him its not sad he has lived a normal life for years now. Tank has smack talked him numerous times and they have had a somewhat feud for a couple years now. I doubt Scott took time off and got serious this "fight" was purely for shits and giggles for him so the last minute change of venue likely meant little to him. Tank is still acting as if he is an active fighter though and somehow that makes it all that much sadder.

At first that's what I was thinking, but you know what you could tell they were genuinely having fun. That's where they started out (street fighting) and the UFC allowed them to do it live in a stage arena. Decades later they're back where they started. Truthfully I think they could have put on a show in a small town and probably packed in about 1,000 peeps. I probably would have paid $20 for random old school fights like that. That's how it was back in the early 90's pretty much. Gritty...

I wouldn't mind seeing Oleg, Don Frye, Goodridge, Pat Smith, Ken, Frank, Keith Hackney, Paul Varelan, Maurice Smith, Marcos Ruas, and the rest of the 1st generation UFC fighters. It would be like a senior PGA tour... Probably would have to do three, three minute rounds.

They should just consider retiring. These guys just stick to their old ways obviously. Reason being they were in the UFC when it was underground.
