Has Camp vs Camp ever been discussed?

I was watching Spatacus and I really liked the format of a team of fighters vs a team of fighters. I'm a huge fan of Greg Jackson camp and the Black House camp. I think it would be amazing if they put something together. I mean people move fromcamps to camp all the time but some people stick with one their whole career.

Some possible match ups

Heavyweights
Shawn Carwin vs Big Nog/ Antonio Silva

Makes more sense vs Big Nog both coming off loses. Both are not getting any younger. Welcomeing fight for Bigfoot

Catchweight maybe Lightheavy

Jon Jones vs Anderson Silva

Dream match up. Maybe a retirement fight.

Middleweight

Machida vs Brian Stann

Machida has talked about moving down goes down to fight a contender to prove himself.

Welterweight
No clue besides GSP for Team Jackson

Lightweight
No clue again beside Guida or Sanchez from Team Jackson
Maybe Aldo moves up and takes a contender on before a title fight.

Flyweight

Aldo vs Brendao

Why not Aldo's has pretty much cleared the his weight class. The Brendao kid has talent and both would love to keep it standing and it would be mad crazy.

Bantaweight

Anyone vs John Dodson

THis was just something has been on my mind for awhile haha I thik it would be the biggest event in UFC history with all the blockbuster names on this DREAM CARD.

This is basically what the IFL started doing towards the end of it's existance. Unfortunately we all know what happened to that organization. I just don't think it's something that can work now.

blackhouse isn't a camp it's a management group with a gym in the states where the fighters they represent can come together. machida trains with his family and brings in his own training partners aldo is with nova unaio, nog has team nogueira. I'm also pretty sure carwin isn't a jackson fighter. i distinctly remember trevor witman doing all the talking in his corner but don't trust me on the carwin part. GSP did cut ties with jackson's though. he trained mostly at BTT canada and tristar for the most part any how.

as for the team concept the issue is that it's very difficult to find teams with ten fighters who would be competitive with a fighter at the same weightclass from another camp. it's a nice idea but very difficult to put together

There is a man who never does anything wrong. He never drinks, smokes or swears. His wife can always tell you where he is. This man is dead.

I don't think it's ever been discussed, too many casuals would probably get confused by the whole team/team concept but it would be interesting you have AKA, Xtreme Couture even though it's not that big anymore, Imperial is out there but their results have been very bad outside of Rashad and the Alliance gym is pretty good with Dominick Cruz, The Mauler, and Phil Davis.

What is Imperial? I also agree that the team versus team concept would be confusing. As far as the casual one knows its one on one.

So that is the gym that Rashad went to after leaving the Greg Jackson camp? Well those are some good fighters to say the least. Did those fighters form it or how did it come about?

Would be interesting to see how it played out, plus the documentaries would be very good as well.Wish this could happen but if it does I see it being awhile something would come op putting it on hold.

Well this would have to be with an independent promotion cause the UFC can't put something like that on. They would have to sign everyone and that takes money. Not all gym members are elite.
