My Photoshop Resources

Ok guys some people have been asking me for this so I am going to post it up.

-----------------------

Tutorials:
http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/Photoshop/1

This place is what got me started. After that I download some .psd's from http://www.deviantart.com and loaded them in photoshop to see the steps they took to make that sig.

-----------------------

Brushes:
Vector- http://www.deviantart.com/#order=9&q=vector+brushes
Blood- http://www.deviantart.com/#order=9&q=blood+brushes
Abstract- http://www.deviantart.com/#order=9&q=abstract+brushes

My favorite are the vector brushes because they look really nice in a signature.

-----------------------

C4D's:
http://planetrenders.net/renders/thumbnails.php?album=1

First off you have to make an account here (not in the forum, make sure it is in the render gallery where you make your account). For those of you don't know what a C4D is, it is an abstract 3D object that is placed in the signature to help with flow and overall make the sig look better. In most of my sigs I use C4D's.

-----------------------

Fonts:
http://www.dafont.com/

Just download these and put them in your font book. Some of my favorites are hitman and seven swordsman. Just search through popular ones and see what font fits your sig. Even though the font is the easiest part of the sig, it is also what holds it together, so make sure you choose good fonts.

-----------------------

Patterns:
http://c130.deviantart.com/art/Scanl...terns-22631618

Instead of directing you to the search engine for you to look around for packets you like, I decided to link you straight to this pattern pack. It is really the only one you need. I use patterns sometimes as a border just to change it up, but they can be used for many things.

-----------------------

Ok that sums it up...if you have any questions post in this thread and I will help you out

Good for those who need the help. I just prefer making my own c4d instead of using PR's.

Yeah I am way too lazy to do that lol. I get pre-made renders any chance I get...

This is a great starting point for people getting into photoshopping. I really like those vector brushes I might try one out in the next sig I make.

I haven't checked that tutorial site yet but does anyone have a tutorial on making barbed wire and also one on making chain link fences? I tried online but couldn't find anything good. It'd be great if the tut was for paintshop since that's what I have but if it's a photoshop one i'm sure I can still figure it out.

Very kind of you! These are nice resources!
I'm a small time video editor who can really use some of those tools for still frame decoration!
Thanks!!
