Are you copy and pasting into your new document? If you are your most likely not selecting the right layer (the image layer not the outline layer) if your not copy and pasting it you need to.

also you shouldnt use pen tool on hair (head) use backgrounderaser tool with sampling "once". That tool erases the colour you sample when clicking on it. turn down tolerance

Anyone have a picture of Machida looking directly into the camera? Or Big Nog. I don't care if it's rendered or not.

Excellent Post!

I never thought of using the 'Pen Tool'..

I use the 'Quick Selection Tool'/'Magic Wand Tool':
1. Create a transparent canvas, same size as image
2. Import/drag the image into the transparent canvas
3. use the 'Quick Selection Tool' and create an outline around the Render (for HQ Renders/images.. the 'Magic Wand Tool' works even faster)
4. Press Delete and the BG is now Transparent

But i also like the Pen tool..
