Ah, I remember having one of them on my foot. Like a blister, but 10 of them on top of each other. Yeah, they hurt like a bitch and feel like you've been stabbed in the foot. I have sympathy

dude i also have sympathy it does hurt like hell. On the plus side once the area heals the skin there kinda hardens and the nerves are dulled so after awhile you do stop getting it on your feet. As for the knees plenty o guys wear knee pads, im not talking big skater boy things just like a bandage. It does hurt real bad, but the only thing you can do and mean it in the nicest way possible is to man up and get on with it.

Oh and dont wear wrestling shoes cos then you'll be, 'that guy who wears wrestling shoes to BJJ.'.............no one wants to be THAT guy.

i dont really know what to tell you about the feet other then and ankle sleeve (but they suck) but for knees they mack a lot of good knee protectors that work well without harming your game.

Something like this is a good example of a knee protector, they make them with pads too if you're worried about impact. There are a lot of products like this, ASICS makes a lot of different ones, all are good. Ive tried similar products for ankles/feet but i find that it makes my TD's and subs's uncomfortable.

Use neosporin at night at bedtime, let it air out for a while during the day, and put joint tape/ athletic tape over it when you're on the mats. I've not trained in a month and I've got mat burn on my feet. Its something we all have to deal with over and over again.
