I was once sparring with another female that had a pretty good weight advantage. Once i finally got mount i pressed the tip of my elbow in the middle of her throat while squeezing her torso with my thighs. It took about 46 seconds of pressing but she finally went out.

I get gogos quite frequently actually. It might even be one of my best subs, especially from the top. Pretty easy. Really easy actually.

Probably submitting this blackbelt in town with an achilles lock. I've never taken formal classes. My trainer taught me basics and had to move, so everything I've learned I've learned from sparring and being in fights. Anyways, like I said, he was a blackbelt and I subbed him. Turns out I'm also the only person to ever be able to submit him with an achilles lock because his ankles are extremely dexterous (his ankle like almost folded backwards when I did it to him)

If you're getting gogo's from the top, there's something wrong with your sparring partners.

actually sounds more like he sucks...you should never tap to an Achilles lock, its just a pain move and cant cause any real damage. what was he a black belt in, because aint no effing way its in juijitsu, and if so he should just kill him self. like machida said, hed die before tap to Ortiz. point being a black belt shouldnt lose to anything other than a black belt.

Not necessarily. I have a great gogo variation that I call the Buddha choke that works off of the S-mount. Requires some leg flexibility, but it works nice interchangeably with an armbar.

Blackbelt in what? Suck-nuts-fu?

Come on, man. I'm normally pretty nice, but this story smells like bullsh*t to me.
