for me no. because bjj first. i might learn judo maybe not

i know where judo came from, i know where bjj came from...

i am speaking of those that compete, on this site. as a judoka, have you or do you compete in bjj?

No but i have done a bit of cross training and will pick it up again when i can i will pick it up again and compete with learning both Judo and BJJ in both Judo and BJJ.

let me give you a tip, DO NOT wear your judo gi, do not start in judo style(standing more like a human, upright... start your standup like a caveman and be hunched over), refs. will pick up on it and not give you points on takedowns after they see you have standup.

I have already done a fair bit of BJJ cross training and will do a lot more to come. But thanks...I will look into that.

2004 - Joslin's Open. Some guy entered the blue belt 185 division. He has a Judo Black belt is 43 years old with numerous judo wins at a high level. He has a BJJ blue belt as stated. He won 6 fights in a row to win the tourny, and it wasn't even close. He totally tooled everyone.

If you are at this kind of level, don't be a sandbagger.
