No but i have done a bit of cross training and will pick it up again when i can i will pick it up again and compete with learning both Judo and BJJ in both Judo and BJJ.
let me give you a tip, DO NOT wear your judo gi, do not start in judo style(standing more like a human, upright... start your standup like a caveman and be hunched over), refs. will pick up on it and not give you points on takedowns after they see you have standup.
"every second your not training, he is..... and he is doing it, just to kick your ass"
2004 - Joslin's Open. Some guy entered the blue belt 185 division. He has a Judo Black belt is 43 years old with numerous judo wins at a high level. He has a BJJ blue belt as stated. He won 6 fights in a row to win the tourny, and it wasn't even close. He totally tooled everyone.
If you are at this kind of level, don't be a sandbagger.
