Jacare is great! I got one of his BJJ instructional books and it was great in theory, clarify and strategy!

Renzo's videos are great, learn every thing in that and your on your way.

which jacare videos are everyone talking about? the old Jacare, or the new one. the old one was even more amazing than the new one from what i understand.

the answer is yes and no.

there are two videos, but there are also two different bjj masters named jacare. the old jacare's video is old, and i really doubt i could find it online, but its sitting in my coaches room right now, so maybe ill be able to post further info on it. apparently the old jacare was like phenominal.

the new jacare rocks too.

all that being said...i never really learned anything from videos...i mean a few ideas but it never has changed my game.

The Romero Jacare Book I have is called -

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Fighting Strategies (Paperback)
by Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti (Author), Mark Van Schuyver (Author).

I'm pretty sure that it will complement the instructional videos, personally I think the most important parts of this book are all the fighting strategies.

However, keep in mind that I am a beggining to mid level BJJ guy - so you may find it redundant if you are a mid to high level!

Ahh ok. Yea, Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza has one vid. as far as I know, was hoping it was his book you were speaking of (and hoping he had one and I just haven't come across it yet).

Go with the Craig Kukuk A-Z videos. For the money it's the best out there!
