Grappling match suggestion thread
Hey guys, I'm looking to watch more classic no-gi grappling matches, and I figured a thread where we could all share our favourite matches (with video links) would benefit everyone.
So here is a suggestion to kick-off the thread.

Hey IronMan, what happened to Brennan in his match with Garcia? Am I not seeing something?
Also, I don't understand why he simply let Marcelo step over and take his arm like that?.. He didn't really show too much resistance until he was already trapped in the armbar.

Marcelo hurt his ribs with the push off. You can see that both of his feet are under. It's a more advanced arm-break when the bicept slicer (my personal go to) is banned.
Marcelo trapped the arm, there's no out when the hook is that deep. Brennan was going to try and roll out, but you can't roll out of one of Marcelo's moves. It's not a valid escape. |
