Btw I smoked like 6 days straight before the tournament so that's why my cardio is shit lol
P.S. it ends with submission...it doesn't go all the way
Good job. Definitely showing improvement, but, since you don't get better from pats on the back (however deserved) here are some things you should work on:
Keep the hips down. You lose that mount because you can't keep your hips down and your weight forward. It comes with time and practice, so just work on it.
Slow the pace when you're in control. When you've got the mount, you're winning. Slow the pace of the fight down. This allows you to really plan your attacks and focus on technique, because the guy on the bottom, a lot of the time, will try and force you into a scramble.
Keep developing that triangle. It's clear that you like the triangle, even setting it up from the top (which is a way I like to finish too, so I understand). Practice tightening it up and working on the difference between good triangle and bad triangle (finishing the triangle from the side = good). I'm happy to walk through some of the details at length, but you know most of the stuff, so it's just about practice.
Still, it was a good fight, and you definitely deserve the belt. Congrats.
