Conditioning for grappling?

Hi I was just wondering are there any specific conditioning techniques that would be beneficial to grappling training?

Aside from running/cycling etc.

Thumbs up

Personally ild just stick to whatever cardio technique you prefer. the big thing for me would be to keep the intensity of your workout up like anyone could run for an hour at the slowest of pace, push yourself in whatever your doing and you should start to see improvements in your stamina when grappling.

Maybe try some explosive sprint runs instead of consistant running, i find them efffective

Roll, roll, roll. I'm awesome at cycling, I can run forever, but the first time I rolled I was dead after 5 minutes. There is literally NOTHING you can do to get good rolling conditioning aside from rolling. Try doing 3 5min rounds with a fresh oponent every round.

I do that anyway just wondering what else I could do.

Cheers for the advice everyone I'll try mixing in some sprints with my running.

As for heavier opponents where I train I'm the youngest/lightest and least experienced. it's hard as hell but I wouldn't have it any other way.
