Flying Subs

ok, so we have all heard of a flying arm-bar, which can be very effective, but i recently stumbled upon a video of a flying omoplata after watching royce gracie use a standard version so well on Akebono. Could you guys find the video, just search "Flying omoplata" and the first 2 results seem pretty good. i tried it with a friend with no resistance, mostly to see if i could hit it. and after about 15 tries, i hit it, and from then on i could get it fairly consistently, but never with 100 percent effort given against me. do you guys think this would be worth trying in some of my fights if i can get it down well enough , would it be effective? <check this out. i go here, awsome staff. also if your in southern california come bye for a free class

With the effort it would take to be effective with a flying submission, you could put half into your fundamental takedowns and be five times more effective from the feet.
I was reffing a tournament the other weekend where this guy kept going to flying arm bar after flying arm bar.
They are very difficult to hit deep, and more importantly they are very difficult to finish because of the amount of space that is there. for Free Training Info

also, once you try and fail, your opponant is set for that move again, making it 10 times harder to lock it on again. the amount of time you would need to be so good at that you could become more well rounded.... and if you did, you'd be a 1 trick pony.

Carley Simon, thanks for writing that song about me!
