Koji "Komlock" Komuro

I've heard that Komlock is coming to Australia to conduct a seminar on 8 & 9 August. It will be held at a judo club. I am not a judo dude, but I'd like to train with this guy.

Should I go ahead and register for his seminar?
What do you guys think?

Do you train in any form of grappling? If so, you should go.

Komlock seminar in Australia

Thanks, Freelancer. I am a bjjer and the seminar is at a judo club. That's why I was wondering should I or should I not??

I just spoke to the organiser and she told me all is welcome.

Looks like Komlock is gonna show us heaps of explosive groundwork techniques like his signature move "Komlock" and also transition from stand-up to groundwork.
I can't wait to meet this little Japanese chap who is a 5th dan judo and bjj black belt. I gotta practise Japanese greetings to impress him

No problem. I think it will be very useful. I saw Koji defeating a Sambo guy in the ring. It was some Sambo vs Judo type match, and I was impressed.

He is very good. He makes me proud to say that I'm training Judo.

Tell us how it went after the seminar.

the question really is "Why Not?"

any sort of little tidbit that you could pick up is another piece of your repertoire that your opponant may not have or have a counter for.

run to the sign ups! do not walk.

I've heard that Satoshi Ishii, +100kg judo gold medalist at the Beijin Olympics, rang up Komlock a few weeks after the Olympics and asked for private lessons!!
How good is that?!!
And he's coming Down Under.
I certainly don't wanna miss out this great opportunity!
