I have yet to meet a guy that can get out a RNC that I've sunk in. The best part about chokes is the complete uselessness that they give muscle. A stronger fighter cannot just smash his way out of a good, solid choke.

I'd have to say the Americana(aka Lateral Keylock) it's one you can brute force in even if they know it's coming, I love the RNC, but they're always watching for it if i've got their back.

The keylock is a great submission and it's definitely effective for guys who have alot of power. I have to say that the chokes make it alot easier to control a bigger guy. If you are a small guy there is almost no way to sink in a keylock.

RNC for me too. Simple and impossible to get out of if you get a decent grip with it. And you get to put people to sleep with it which is always fun

Anyone else ever given up our back effectivley? Watching alot of Louisue(murdered the spelling) he very effectivley give up the back while controlling one arm with both of his and protecting his head with his shoulder/digging his chin in. I have tried this and have had great luck reversing into there guard or if I can manage halfguard/sidemount. Possibly a bad habit to get into but worth practicing defending your back!

I voted for other. My favourite submission is the Guillotine Choke. It's so easy to put in and is very effective, most of the time you get they guy to tap out.

The guillotine has to be the easiest submission to use, but it's also the easiest submission to block. I don't like it because it can be so easily countered. It'll stop a wrestler trying to double leg me, but it won't stop anyone that has any experience in submission fighting.
