Exclamation should i take up wrestling?

hi,
im wondering if i should take up wrestling because i hear all the time on ufc the commentators talking about it, i have been doing bjj for over a year and im really comfertable with my abilities but am wondering should i take up wrestling too?

IT is a abosolutly needed to have atleast basic wrestling knowledge now.

It depends on your goals. Do you want to competeż If yes, then you will need at least some wrestling knowledge to get your opponent to the ground or to defend your opponent's take down attack depending on where you want the fight to take place.

yes am wanting to compete some day and i have some knowledge is some takedowns and sprawling will wrestling give me and other skills that bjj cant teach you?

Yes, wrestling is becoming dominant and can even be used in advantage to BJJ.

You will have to adjust your wrestling as for example in pure wrestling you don't have to worry about a knee that might come to knock you out when you are shooting in. Things like that.

The only thing you need to learn is how to change levels fast. A good BJJ background would cover the rest.
