I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one. I just started up again after a long layoff. I wrestled in Sat & Sun and did BBJ on Wed. My elbows are KILLING me. The pain is deep in the joint and around the biceps area. I tried weight training yesterday. Some light benching & triceps work, and it aggravated everything. Is this a newbie thing that eventually goes away? I hope so...

I've tryed that it doesn't work. Especially not for striking, i know for a fact it slows my reaction time way down.

I think for the most part a lot of that pain will go away but one of the things you have to get used to if you plan on taking mma seriously is you're always going to have a sore muscle or a bruised bone or shin or tendon, its just part of the game. Atleast find solace in that everyone else is feeling the same way some people are just really good actors.

Good to know.

Does getting baked help at all with the pain. I always hear Eddie Bravo & Rogan talking about it.

Well in my experience it doesn't really take the pain away it just takes your mind off the pain.
