I've tryed that it doesn't work. Especially not for striking, i know for a fact it slows my reaction time way down.
I think for the most part a lot of that pain will go away but one of the things you have to get used to if you plan on taking mma seriously is you're always going to have a sore muscle or a bruised bone or shin or tendon, its just part of the game. Atleast find solace in that everyone else is feeling the same way some people are just really good actors.
