Unarmed, could use some skills

I am in the process of applying and training for a private security company. They do not allow weapons, so I wanted to consult the forum about what they think are the quickest submission or fight ending moves I could concentrate on

Try to stay off the ground in situations like that, but if you must, focus on chokes. There are a lot of people that can be so drugged they keep fighting with a broken arm. Noone keeps fighting when there's no oxygen going to their brain.

That depends on the area most the person will be working at. The most likely drugs that will be permit the attacker to keep fighting are PCP and possibly Cocaine (since it is a pain-killer, the attacker may not know/feel the broken bone). And depending on where the original poster is from, that may never occur during the poster's work (since it is private security and not a police force).

I posted this in the Stand-Up thread you made too, but I'd say Judo. It will allow you to take somebody attacking you and throw them to the ground and be able to choke them or hold a submission (such as an arm bar) until either the police (or other security) arrives or so you can try to calm down the attacker.

my uncle used to be a riot control cop, tokyo japan. japan everything is done in mass, so when they got called they would leave guns at the station. as a cop in japan you must be of teaching level (2nd degree black belt)in two martial arts, he was judo & aikido. to help get these degrees they do a live in program at the dojo every day training for a year.

I would start off with some Judo. Learn the takedowns and some of the submissions. That's a really good thing to know.

Also, Sambo is really good, if there isn't a good Judo school near you. They will also teach you takedowns and different kinds of locks.

Good luck with the job.

If there isnt Judo by you, Ju Jitsu is similar, its actually based off Judo. I learn a lot of defence from punches/ knife attacks and then once blocked, how to either submit them or going a little further break their bones.
