Being stuck under a heavier guy may be frustrating. I've been crossfaced so many times by a guy who had 60+ lbs on me.

Iron Man is right. If he is high on your chest use your elbows to slide yourself up. Doing that remember you are trying to move yourself not him. If you move him that is a plus.

The best mount escape for me is bucking and driving up and out with your hands on his hips. It has to be fast and sometimes takes 2 back to back tries. If he is new he probably hasn't learned good balance from the mount. I don't have a video because youtube is blocked.

That's what I do, bump and shrimp til you get half guard, pop his arm across his body and take his back *youtube). KEY: move yourself and don't waste energy trying to move him!

Hhahaha...what about fore arm to the neck. Some people are bastards I tell ya. It's all worth it when you submit their fat ass.

BTW: Anybody try the Pillsbury technique.

It's a tough position to be in and being a bigger guy myself, it still sucks to be under someone else my size or bigger. Leverage is one thing to remember when in that situation and while it's easy to talk about it versus doing, it's just something ya gotta drill and prepare for. Try to get your hand in his armpit and maintain control of one of his arms, preferably the opposite of his strong hand (if he's left handed, go for the right side and vice versa). Shift your hips like you're going to pull out and roll to that side while pushing in on his pit area. It's a one shot deal but it works more often than you'd think. Good luck!

I hate rolling with huge guys, right now im good enough to dominate people of my skill level who are around the same size but some novice big guys still dominate me. They do really novicey stuff on me too...annoying.

I was being dominated and beat up with GnP by a fat novice the other week, split my lip because he was an angry sort. Made it all the better when i was able to slip around to his back and RNC him, modified the choke to make sure i digged my boney wrists right into his wind wipe because im a nasty fukr, he tapped furiously with plenty of anger....which was cool.

The technique Iron Man mentioned has been tried and proven by me of course. It's almost effortless. Watch the reaction while you reverse the fat mofo over through beautiful techinque. However I like to hook both legs so you can quickly go both ways if he somehow is able to shift his weight and balance his fat ass.

Hook, bridge, reverse. you like me now.

Think I enjoy the counters and reversals just as much as the submissions itself.

Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.
