He knows he'll lose if it goes to the ground, without a doubt and he learned his lesson from the Nog fight. I'm not saying Fedor won't take Sylvia down, I'm sure it will eventually happen, but it's not going to be as easy as you make it sound like. This is definitely going to be one hell of a fight.

I'm not saying this is going to be a walk in the park for Fedor, but he's going to win without a doubt, styles make fights and Fedor is just a bad matchup for Tim, training a couple of months in Judo won't help you much against a guy who's been practicing it for a lot of years, also Tim's type of body, with a high centre of gravity, will hurt him when trying to avoid being taken down.

But doesn't your prediction of a round 1 sub by Fedor kinda imply a walk in the park?
Anyways, I'm almost certain Fedor will win too, just feel like you're not giving Sylvia enough credit. Fedor will take quite a bit of punishment before he can get the takedown. And until the takedown (which could take until later round 2 or even 3), it will be a very close fight. I just want it to happen now

Well, I'll correct myself, it won't be more of a walk in the park than any of his previous fights, he will win in impressive fashion like always, Tim will hit him a few times when they're standing, but I doubt it will take more than a round (Nog has much worse takedowns than Fedor and he took Sylvia down in round 1) for Fedor to get the takedown and once it hits the ground, it's all over.

Fedor by submission round 1 or 2. I can't see this going any other way except Tim by wild KO.

Tim's biggest problem against Fedor is his speed. Fedor is very quick and agile for a heavyweight whereas Tim is very slow. Tim needs to work on his footwork and establish his jab so that Fedor cannot get inside.

If Rothwell can beat AA and Fedor beats Sylvia, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rothwell vs. Fedor.
If, that is, this promotion stays afloat long enough to make it happen.

They already said that they plan on putting 1 or 2 more events regardless of losses, so that could very well happen. But I think Arlovski-Fedor is more probable of happening. If Fedor beats Timmy and Arlovski, while staying undefeated, he should go down as the best ever, because Nog is not going to be fighting top competition in the UFC from now on.

You don't think that Werdum, Gonzaga, Kongo, Vera, Mir, Cro Cop(when he comes back like he said he would at the end of the year) is top competition? I know some of those guys are coming off of losses but they will get back on track, also you got up and comers like Cain Velasquez and Shane Carwin who both are most likely are going to be good. Nog has more people to fight then Fedor who just has Sylvia, Arlovski, Barnett, Rothwell, and freakshows.

I have the feeling Rothwell's gonna end up in UFC before too long. Not based on anything, just a gut thing.
