World Victory Road Presents: Sengoku 4
I just looked up Gomi and realized this was coming up on August 24th. What do you think? I'm looking forward to it, if only to see Gomi fight again. He is fighting DEEP Champion Seung Hwan Bang. Trigg is fighting as well as Peter Graham (former K-1 fighter, who Fujita beat in his MMA debut at Sengoku 1). Wikipedia has only 7 fights listed which is less than the usual ten fights on an MMA card.
Does anyone even follow this promotion much? Its not that bad. Guys like Fujita, Nick Thompson, Monson, Barnett, Misaki have fought in the last three events. The only problem is the time between events. If only every promotion had monthly cards...

This is great for the development of Sengoku and revampment of Japanese MMA, but Gomi needs to get his ass to DREAM tonight!

I did post about this in General MMA because I'm not sure what this has got to do with HDNet Fights? Unless they have got a deal with them now?? I wasn't aware of that if so.

I'm looking forward to the card anyway, very excited for the LW GP.
They've got some great fighters in it, Eiji Mitsuoka, one of my fave Japs and a pretty underrated fighter who beat Joachim Hansen not long ago.
Rodrigo Damm is a good prospect and he just stopped Jorge Masvidal, even though it was a bullshit stoppage. Eiji Mitsuoka vs. Rodrigo Damm is one of the first round fights, loving it.
Satoru Kitaoka is one of the greatest guys on the ground in the LW Division. He's in there against Clay French who is pretty solid. Another tough fight to pick.
CageForce champ Mizuto Hirota fights IFL champ Ryan Schultz also, down for that.
So the LW GP opening round fights with Trigg vs. Takimoto and then Gomi vs. Pang...
Hell yeah I'm totally excited for this

Yeah no worries, I was just wondering if they had a deal with HDNet Fights now, but I guess not.

Gomi's actually facing a guy who can really bang, so this should be a good fight. Gomi should take it, though. Dude, when motivated, is one of the best fighters in the world. All depends on which Gomi actually shows up.
Sengoku 4 looks to be a fun card, with Gomi in there and Trigg vs Takimoto. They've been putting on some fun shows, so yeah, I dig them. Anyone who has guys like Kitaoka fight is alright with me.
French vs Kitaoka isn't that hard to predict, in my opinion. Sure, Clay's a gamer, but Kitaoka's BJJ is freakin' excellent, and he should end up subbing dude with relative ease. Kitaoka is the truth.
Damm is indeed a damn good prospect (See what I did there?) and Mitsuoka has been looking quite good lately. That is a tough fight to predict, but I like Damm more so I'm going with him.
