IFL The International Fight League is an American mixed martial arts promotion billed as the world's first MMA league. Instead of the established norm for MMA events, where matchups are strictly one-on-one affairs, each IFL card is a showdown between two camps of at least three fighters, each fighter fighting one match against another in the opposing camps. The IFL is currently televised in the United States on FSN / Fox Sports Net.

ControlledChaos has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Thumbs down Come on man!!

I just got done watching the 3/17/07 showing of Sabres vs. Condors. I saw a fight between Jeremy Williams and Kazuhiro Hamanaka and i was amazed on how late the stoppage came from Referee Steve Mazzagatti. Jeremy Williams got Kazuhiro in a deep triangle choke and there was no tap. Well he obviously passed out because for 8 straight seconds i watched as his body was struggling for oxygen. The man was obviously out, yet the ref let it go on for far too long. And then Bas Rutten was like "ohh its just a choke he's ok..."
Steve Mazzagatti is an a$$

#1- He's not an ass
#2- He lets fighters go a little longer and gives them more chances than other refs.
#3- Bas is correct, nobody's ever suffered a serious injury from it.
Finally #4- He kept grabbing his hand and his body wasn't limp at all. I see nothing wrong with the stoppage.

Repped for sure. I agree with every point you made.
