Hi. Let's fight.
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, when MMA was a new thing and nobody knew what the heck jui jitsu was, even people who'd been doing MA a long time, I was a young man, high school wrestler, 1 year judoka and tkd student who fell in love with it after watching Royce Gracie tear everyone a new b-hole in UFC's one and two. I found some people who'd been taught a few things by some guys who knew some guys who trained BJJ and fancied myself a fighter. I had a few quasi-legal barn and bar type fights where I made a few bucks, did ok, (3-1, no decisions :-D ) but got married and had to get a real job. I've trained BJJ off and on since then and love the sport, and the art. Now I'm an old fart who likes to tell everybody how it was back in my day.
I've been known on a couple forums in the past as fight_doctor. I like a good argument, when I have time, (rarely, unfortunately) mostly because I'm usually right. :-) Love to talk MMA, love to roll, love to learn new techniques.
Looking forward to the verbal sparring!
