Danemicus has a little shameless behaviour in the past
New to MMA (and would love some suggestions)

Hello, after thoroughly enjoying the Undisputed 3 video game, it's incited me to become interested in MMA. I used to be an avid boxing fan, but I've become disillusioned with the sport in recent years. After watching random UFC matches on youtube recently, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them and I find myself learning the basics as a casual observer might, but that doesn't feel like enough.

In short, I want to become as immersed with MMA as the average fan. I am going to get a bundle of DVDs, but I'd like to know of "must see" events that I should look for. If anyone has any suggestions that you think would be suitable for a newbie who'd like to appreciate the best that the sport has to offer, I'd be grateful.

Welcome to the forum, it's nice to meet you Danemicus. I'd suggest some Pride FC Dvds, mainly the Bushido, Grand Prixs, and Shockwave series. If you want to watch the way the UFC began, try to get some UFC VHS tapes, like of UFC 8 and 9, and of course the first one, even though the UFC was like a cockfight back in those days LOL. Anything UFC best of DVD or Ultimate Knockouts should be good too.

Check here too. Top 25 fights to show New MMA Fan on this site.

Supporting:Ian McCall, Tatsuya Kawajiri, Alan Belcher, Tim Kennedy, Takanori Gomi, Fedor, Josh Barnett.
