I just got right into the training, was fat and unfit as hell but the training helped that so I say just go for it!

As far as the diet goes you can take supplements, fat burners and appetite suppressors help cause yeah dieting is hard but remember being hungry is bad for you so just snack sensibly, fruit and nuts etc. Best thing to do to get losing the weight is just go for runs and do interval training. They will make the fat drop off you! Just get into the training though.

Water, lots of water.
Don't be afraid to try different exercises, even if you do it wrong its still better than nothing. ( unless its dangerous, don't do high risk activities)

Something that makes you use your leg muscles, they are BIG muscles and they will burn calories and help your cardio more than anything else. IMO

Good luck..

Eating right is as vital as training itself, you can probably google all that stuff fairly easy.

Control your calorie intake, you have to be able to burn more calories than you consume in order to get rid of the fat. Also eat in small portions, but more often than you probably eat right now. Smaller meals/more often is better than eating a large portion, say 2-3 times a day. Also water is your friend.

People make this to be a difficult thing i've noticed but it's all very simple if your dedicated enough.

I struggle, when I set my mind to stuff I am fine and get the motivation like when I am wanting to compete but generally my diet sucks haha! It's all about your mind set and I just love eating junk and drinking.

Also I couldn't agree more with the leg stuff, get right about the back squats on the weights! It develops your core too which is just as important for developing good posture and fighting mechanics.

Agree, squats are king if done correct and not over done, love/hate them.

Also, I don't know if Dolce has any books out ( probably does ) but I think he probably has it (diet) figured out better than anyone, not just the cutting weight part, he has some very good training diet info..
Im thinking about trying to tighten my diet up some.
