Hey people, I am new to this forum but not mma. I was recently on another forum but do to mixed morals from other people. It was best I find another forum. Im from the detroit area and am starting training for bjj, muay tai in a week or so. I self train but found a great place to train recently so I am excited about that. The instructor Matee "dragon leg" jedeepitak is quite well known in tailand. And the bjj instructors were under the gracie family for awhile. So I would say its a great place to go. I was gonna go to another place that was schooled by saulo ribeiro but he moved and the schedule sucked. Well hopefully I will be in amatuer fighting soon enough.

That is very cool. I'm from the Detroit area as well.

Im about 15 minutes from downriver......I go down there once in a while to shoot hoops outside some odd factory on the river in wyandotte. Its a pretty relaxing spot at night.
