Are you guys still around here?

If so, do you mind further explaining what happened at Fight Forum. From what I heard, someone was voted as a mod and then "corrupted the system" or something.

Please give me the facts.

Oh and welcome to forum, boys.

I'm not Coco myself but I was a daily poster over at Fight Forum when this whole thing went down so I can give you a pretty good idea what happened.

The fight forum is not as big as this forum but they had some pretty knowledgeable mma guys over there who posted quite regularly. The admins over there became Nazi bastards who would ride peoples ass for the smallest things; they were also very inconsistent with the way different people were treated.

Finally some of the main members of the forum got sick of the bullshit and formed a secret alliance (Team Coco) to manipulate the forum in an effort to improve some of the crap that was going on. They were even able to get one of there people in as a moderator to FightForum, this allowed them to always know what was going on behind closed doors and to stay one step ahead (this was pretty damn smart really).

Team Coco was very well organized and each member had assignments and a position title, i.e. spy, enforcers, public relations specialist, shit like this. Some of the stuff they were doing was sinister and hateful but for the most part they were just trying to prevent fight forum from continuing down the shitter. Had they been successful they would have made it a better place to be.

As it was, they were discovered and the shit hit the fan. Everything over at fight forum went crazy for about two weeks and all the Team Coco members were banned. When these guys were all banned the forum lost 90 percent of their quality members. Team Coco's numbers were not all that big (around 18 I think), but these guys were all major posters and most were funny as hell, Real fun guys to bullshit with from day-to-day.

I was not team coco so I didn't get banned from fight forum but after all these guys were banned from there the place became strict like a nuns panties and all the good posters were gone. I have not posted there since all that shit hit the fan. I moved over here and this is where I post now. I think a lot of peoples attitude about fight forum changed after this whole thing went down.

although your post is not 100% accurate the jist of it is.

team coco was formed before we grew unhappy with FF.

It grew as a need fr memebrs to have a good time as shit happened at FF, it basically evolved from myslef and grits having a laugh in chat to basically offering the good ff posters a place to enjoy discussing MMA which at that point in FF discussing MMA became a drag.

we came, we seen and eventually in a round about way we suceeded. I know for a fact that there are guys from FF who were the main ring leaders in gettign us banned reading this so my comment to you is. What did you achieve_ who reallt won the war

we did and now we have a platform to offer people a real chance to put the fun into MMA discusion.

long live TEAM COCO and all who love it.

Nimster- I would be interested to see how, or if, this really effected FF. The admins will say it didnt but I wonder what the average blue collar poster thinks about this whole thing.

You guys did win the battle when Aikimortal (or whatever the hell his name was) resigned as a moderator, but you guys paid a hell of a price to get it done. Know what I mean? If Guile were not such a spineless prick he would have fired Aikimortal's ass earlier and this whole thing may have been avoided.

i understand that man, but as they say with great struggle comes great reward. we initially wanted to make FF a better place so we did that, but we cant be there to enjoy it. so what? i still read it and when i want to converse i speak with the boys at team coco
