Newbie...

I'm new to the boards and the sport. My name is Casey, I'm 24/m, Paramedic.... I haven't started as of yet, I'm still looking for a good school to train in, I think I've found one that's gonna be pretty good. Just wondering what anyone else thinks?

here's the info.

Sparta Fitness offers:

MMA 101:
Striking - Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing
Clinching - Greco-Roman Wrestling, Muay Thai
Takedowns/Takedown Defense - Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu
Ground Fighting - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling
Functional Fitness Training - Focusing primarily on combat athletics, conditioning and fitness drills.

Price: $35/month (MMA101) + $34/month (Gym membership)

It's based in a Fitness Gym, with lots of exercising equip., pool, sauna, free weights etc.

Thanks,

~Casey~

Sounds like a good deal for the price, The instructors might not be the best but then again wouldnt hurt to check it out. Welcome to the forum.

The gym is a upper-class complete workout gym, got it at that price for being a Paramedic...I've actually been training for about 2 weeks or so? It's pretty fun. The instructor is a Brown belt in BJJ, and is cool and knowledgeable.

Thanks for the welcomes, I'm glad to be here.

Thanks again,

~Casey~
