Hey everyone. New here.

Hello all,

I'm new to this MMA forum, and I hope to learn more about the MMA world here. Became interested into MMA a few months ago. I don't train at any club and I don't think I will be able to in the near future because of school, and work but I am about to start training a bit here at home once I get some equippment and some more knowledge about this wonderful sport.

your best bet is to go out and rent/buy some pride and ufc videos. two pieces of advise #1 have fun. #2. think about what you post before you actually post it. don't want to offend anyone and get flamed for three or four pages.

welcome aboard..mastiff pretty much summed it up..dont be afraid to ask questions..you shouldnt get slammed for asking questions..i think its when some one makes an untrue statement that rubs people the wrong way..you should def get some dvds..and spend as much time on youtube.com as you can..lots a fights on there and the best part is they are free..

Yes, most definitely search Youtube, and get a better feel for the sport. You can pretty much check for any fighter, and there's usually a highlight someone made.

For DVD's, get UFC 49 & 47 first. Both are exciting, and there's never really a dull moment.

Find Frank Shamrock vs Tito Ortiz from UFC 22. This is just me spewing my love for Frank Shamrock, but the fight is my favorite fight of all time. Just an incredible battle where conditioning plays a huge factor. Find some 1994-1996 Pancrase tapes as well. Highspots.com has some.
