There's 3 names that you must know: Fedor Emelianenko, Anderson Silva, and Don Frye.

Welcome to the forum.

Where do you live? There might be some good gyms around you that we could point you to.

I know there is a really good gym called revolution there,
they have got alot of pro fighters and a really nice facility, but i think the gym is in langley.

I think in quoquitlum there is Lance Gibsons Pankration, they got some pretty good fighters, the head instuctor fought in old school ufc before to.

Another gym I know of if you dont mind commuting all the way to the Edmonds area in burnaby is called Columbia mma pretty good gym, they have a belt system for mma.

If you are looking to expand your mma knowledge by alot in little time, go to youtube and type in "pride Decade" and watch it from part 1-14, best documentary ever!

anymore questions ask,

And welcome to the forum Dawg

*Edit look up Rob Emerson, right now he is comsidered the top pound for puond fighter in the world, quite the legend
